About our Trainer
Someone who has known Kaitlyn a very long time once said "Kaitlyn is the kind of person who truly cares about the happiness of others" and no truer words were ever spoken. Learning new things and sharing them with others in order to spread enthusiasm and harmony is Kaitlyn's greatest joy.

Kaitlyn has had an overwhelming passion for animals for her entire life. Nature documentaries fed her intense curiosity for animal behavior. Through this passion she developed an intimate understanding of animal behavior and its scientific study, as well as a powerful love of problem solving. That is why dog training came naturally to her while growing up with her own dogs and many a friend and family member encouraged her to train professionally.
While Kaitlyn originally had dreams of becoming a veterinarian in college, she shifted focus towards a goal of teaching while getting her Bachelors Degree in conservation and wildlife management. She graduated from Delaware Valley University in 2009.
She initially pursued ecological research jobs after college, but then a break between seasonal jobs led her to work as a trainer at a major pet store in 2011. In 2014, she began working as a service dog trainer after a client of hers gave her a glowing recommendation. From that point forward Kaitlyn realized her calling in life. The fulfillment she feels helping others improve their lives have been immeasurable.
With her scientific-minded background, Kaitlyn believes in learning every day and continues to seek out opportunities to do so. She believes every challenge is an exciting opportunity to learn and faces each one with undying optimism.

She has received certificates from the Karen Pryor Academy for Clicker Training, Debby Kay for blood glucose detection for Diabetes Alert Dogs, and from the Council of Professional Dog Trainers. She is also and certified trainer with Atlas Assistance Dogs.
